Hello Parents and Students!
I would like to begin by welcoming you to a new school year here at St. Jude's Academy! My name is Ms. Glover and I will be one of SJA's grade 3 teachers for the 2016/2017 school year. I am incredibly excited to meet each member of my amazing class!
Here at SJA we take great pride in open lines of communication between staff and parents. This blog has been created to help us keep in contact with one another during the year. Here I will post homework, important dates and information, weekly spelling words, and what is going on in the classroom each day! Take a look at the right side bar for links to different pages to keep you informed about what is going on at SJA.
A little bit about me, I recently completed the Masters of Education program in Teaching, Learning, and Development at Brock University. After my Bachelor in Education I wanted to continue to formally study education, and how I could implement best practices into my practice in order to establish and lead an effective classroom. Since then I have taken the summer off to spend time with family and friends, and prepare for the upcoming year!
I am really looking forward to spending this year together, learning from each other, and growing together. I hope that through this blog we will be able to keep contact with each other! If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me any time, and I look forward to meeting you all soon!
