Happy Thursday Parents!
We had a very exciting day here in grade 3! We began with
math where we started out a new unit on management. We had a scavenger hunt and
measured various items around the classroom in centimetres.
In language we continued working on similes; the class
really is coming up with creative sentences that are very descriptive! Early
finishers were challenged to write a “super simile” that was good enough to be
hung up on the wall! We had some amazing responses!
In UOI we began making log houses out of our cardboard milk
cartons and pretzels! The class is having so much fun making their houses and
they all worked incredibly well during this period! We are going to continue to
work on our houses tomorrow as well!
We finished the day with music, gym, and agendas before kiss
and ride!
Important Reminders:
- Math homework page 158-1589
- Read 25 minutes
- Spelling work due and spelling test tomorrow
- Art Reach Forms due
- Practice Story writing at home
- All October Forms due tomorrow
