Happy Tuesday Parents!

We had a busy day here in third grade! We began our day with math review; we focussed on the key concept of time, temperature, and calendars! We had a review with the whole class and completed a bunch of practice problems to help the class prepare for their test on Friday!

For language we spoke about finding the main idea in the story and finding the details that support that idea! We read a story as a class and practice d identifying the main idea together and finding the supporting details, the class then had the chance read another story and find the main ideas and supporting details on their own.

After lunch, recess, and French the class came back and completed the forces and motion quiz! They all seemed very prepared for the quiz after completing the review that was sent home yesterday! It is amazing to see how much they have learned (and I have learned with them!).

After second lunch and recess the class had music and gym before completing agendas and heading off to kiss and ride!

Important Reminders:

• Math test on Friday (review was sent home yesterday to be completed before test day)
• Spelling test on Friday lesson 15 (to be handed in on Thursday)
• Year ahead day tomorrow our class will be with Mrs. Hocevar!
• Casual Day tomorrow, wear your casual clothes if you paid the casual day fee!
• Bake Sale tomorrow!
• Re-registration packages were sent home, the deadline is fast-approaching!
