We had a great day in third grade! We began our day with math where we learned about turns! All of the students had great memory and used their knowledge of clocks and time in order to determine if a turn is clockwise, counter clockwise, a quarter turn, half turn, or three quarter turn!
For language we worked on cause and effect, the class learned some key words that they can look for when determining cause and effect in a story (Then, So, Because). We then completed a sheet together as a class to find the cause and effects, and then students completed an individual task based on their reading level and tailored to meet their needs!
After lunch, recess, and French, we had UOI we began by discussing trade, defining trade, and thinking about how the country and the city need each other for trade! We then played an amazing trading game! Students were either from the country or the city and had to trade goods in order to collect points! They had so much fun!
After second lunch and recess we finished our UOI presentations for forces and motion! They will be uploaded to our YouTube as soon as I get a new laptop!
We ended the day with gym and agendas before heading off to kiss and ride!
