We had a great day here in grade 3! We began the day with a house game!
We then had time for a short math lesson on fractions of a length. Students then used this to complete Valentine's Day themed task cards that were around the room related to fractions.
Afterward we began making a Valentine's Day card using paint and Q-Tips to draw hearts and other Valentine's shapes with dots! The students were very creative!
After lunch, recess, and French, the class came back and we worked on our Valentine's Day Craft. We made ornaments out of yarn! The students were patient even though the craft required some of them to spend time untangling and working together! They all turned out beautifully!
We ended the day with sharing the Valentine's Day treats our classmates brought in and a dance party before gym, agendas, and heading off to kiss and ride!

Have a wonderful evening!
