We had a busy day today back in grade 3! We began our day today with math where we learned about relating multiplication to division by writing related facts. (for example: 4x5=20, 5x4=20, 20/5=4, 20/4=5). The students seem to understand this concept well! They will be provided with a review sheet as soon as possible for their upcoming test for this unit on Friday and we will be having two full periods in class to work on review together!
In language we worked on identifying the topic sentences and supporting details in paragraphs! We also learned about transition words and how they can be used on order to make a really strong and organized paragraph!
After lunch, recess, and french we came back and students were provided with time to review their fractured fairy tales before they presented them to the class! They were incredible! Most made use of great adjectives and wonderful descriptive language!
After second lunch and recess we spent more time presenting before gym, completing agendas and heading to kiss and ride!
Our Action Star board is filling up! We had three more action stars in the past while, Iqra for writing a scary story, Jasmeet for writing a story on birds, and Emaan for writing multiple stories on things that interest her! Great work!
