We had another busy day here in grade 3! We began our day with math where we began our in-class review work for our math test on Friday! We focused on word problems, related facts, and division with remainders!
For language we worked on writing a story paragraph to match our comic strips from UOI yesterday! The class is working hard to add descriptive language to their writing!
After lunch, recess, and French we came back to class and learned about a new story type: Scary Stories! We watched a presentation and working in partners to use our senses to describe various pictures! We worked on using synonyms for words that are commonly used on scary stories, scary, dark, etc. Then the class worked on describing a spooky monster in detail! They will be using this for an assignment in class tomorrow!
After second lunch and recess we had more time to work on our monster descriptions and then the class had gym before completing agendas and heading off to kiss and ride!
