Happy Thursday Parents!

We had a wonderful day today! We began our day with math where we began our Multiplication Madness Challenge. Students are racing against the clock in order to develop their multiplication skills., and also to show me how much they know about their multiplication tables. Students will receive stickers for every multiplication table they can answer perfectly! They are excited about the challenge and reassured that they are working to improve personally and are not in competition with each other! We are working to be our very best!

Today we specifically worked on our 2 and 5 times tables, we discussed how doubles and skip counting can help us, and how different number patterns are present in the products.

In language, we began our new novel unit! We started reading Stuart Little! The students are very excited because they had so much fun and learned so much from our last unit on LHBW!

After lunch, recess, and French, we had time to work on our summative posters and assignments! Most students are working on their final copies, and we are hoping that they will be ready to present their posters by Tuesday!

We ended the day with some more time to work on our summative assignments, or our language comprehension work before gym, agendas, and heading to kiss and ride.

Students will eat their lunch after we arrive back at school, but students are asked to bring a small disposable snack that they can have (granola bar etc. in disposable containers/bags) while we are out on our trip.
We will arrive back at the school at approximately 12:45, after which we will eat our lunches. Please remember on field trip days there are no hot lunches provided, that means if your child normally receives hot lunch they must bring a lunch instead.
