Happy Tuesday Parents!

It was a great day back in the classroom today! We began our day with math where we focused on a new multiplication table: the 10 times tables! The class loved the 10's as they are very easy to remember! We started with a mad minute quiz-all of the students are showing progress with their speed and accuracy for multiplying! We then had time for some textbook work!

In language we worked on reading some more of Stuart Little, we used our procedural writing skills in order to write out the steps for Stuart to get ready in the morning! He has so many steps, as the simplest of tasks for a human are much harder for a mouse! We noticed some similes while reading and we had some volunteers from the class read the book aloud!

After lunch and recess we had a house game! Students and teachers played a hula hoop relay!
For UOI we continued working on our summative assignments, I see some amazing projects coming together with lots of added components, including fun facts or items from the places that students are researching! Some students are even making structures to go along with their posters! That is action!

We ended the day with music, gym and agendas before heading off to kiss and ride!

It was a fantastic day and it feels great to be back in the classroom!
