We are half-way through our week in grade 3! We began our day with math where we focused on the 1 and 0 times tables! We learned that 0 times anything is equal to 0 because there are no groups. We also learned that anything multiplied by one is equal to itself. For example 1x3=3 because there are 3 equal groups of 1! We are all showing so much progression with our multiplication!
For language we read chapter 5 and 6 of Stuart Little, we worked on answering some comprehension questions to ensure that we are understanding what we have read. We also worked on visualizing what it would be like walking through a big city as a mouse!
After lunch, recess, and French we worked on our UOI summative projects, most of the class is finished their posters and are working on practicing for their presentations! We will be practicing for our presentations and beginning presentations on Friday!
After second lunch and recess we had time for our PARTY as the class had earned enough party points! We had a treat and watched a movie before it was tie to head to the auditorium early for a house game before kiss and ride!
We are super heroes and princesses!
