Happy Tuesday Parents!
It is great to be back in class after a nice long weekend!
We began our day with math where we learned about growing patterns! We used
pattern blocks to make patterns and then draw a table and write out a pattern
rule to explain the patterns we made!
In language we wrote About the Author sections for our summative
assignments. We started by looking through books to investigate what the About
the Author section includes. We then used an organizer to write a rough draft
and then completed a good copy for their final summative assignments!
After lunch, recess, and French, we began the planning
process of our summative assignments. The class is starting with a graphic
organizer that we will use to help us create a story board for our final
stories. I am excited to see that many people are choosing different genres of
stories! We also brainstormed other words to choose instead of said!
We ended the day with music, gym, and agendas before heading
off to kiss and ride!
