We began our day today with math where we learned about finding number patterns in tables! Our math was separated by French as the older students are away on a French trip!
When we came back the class worked on some work in order to practice finding patterns in a table!
After lunch and recess the class had the opportunity to learn about fables. We read the tortoise and the hare and the students compared and contrasted the two characters. In UOI they wrote their own fables with groups while using the proper elements (characters that are animals, a moral) and what we have learned in class (hook at the beginning, similes, onomatopeia).
After second lunch and recess the class had music. Instead of gym today the class had the opportunity to present their fables to the class!
