Happy Thursday Parents!

We began our day today with Math, where the students were working on using mental math to subtract two-digit numbers. I am so proud of all of the homework that the grade 3’s have been completing and turning in. Thank you so much for your dedication in ensuring your child gets done the homework.

Next we worked on our friendship stories. As part of the IB program, we believe it is essential to encourage our students to reflect on experiences; as a result today we reflected on our friendship stories. First we peer-reviewed another friends work, and then completed a self-reflection. The students were great at being both honest and fair with their classmate, and themselves.

After French we worked on role-playing bullying scenarios as part of our UOI unit on friendship the students were so great at coming up with proper solutions to problems they may encounter with bullies on the playground or at school!

Before going home the students had time to do daily 5, or work on any work that they hadn’t completed.

Important Reminders:

-Math homework pages 42 and 43
-Spelling test tomorrow and spelling work for lesson 2 due tomorrow. Please have your child practice the spelling words for tomorrows test.

-Reading log should be returned tomorrow for checks!

Have an amazing night!
