Happy Monday Parents!

We had a great day here in grade 3! We began the day with our morning meeting and then the class had a surprise for today's birthday girl! Entirely planned by them, I took Jaya out of the classroom to "photocopy" and they all hid behind desks to shout "happy birthday" to her as she came back into the room. It warms my heart knowing how much the students in our class care for each other! After the surprise we went right to work with completing our OWA post-assessment. We have been working on letter writing for quite a while so today we put all of our knowledge and skills into writing our very best letters yet!

After lunch, recess, and french, we came back to class and had UOI. We had a very exciting UOI period today! We joined classes with Miss. Ross's class and the classes were broken into groups who then became the expert on a different topic related to city communities. The students then used their research skills in order to learn about their topic as a group! We have some very knowledgeable students who were great inquirers today and asking really important questions!

We ended the day with music, gym, and agendas before heading off to kiss and ride!
