Happy Weekend Parents!

Sorry for the late post, I hope you all had a relaxing weekend! On Friday we begin our day with math where we focussed on reflections for our motion geometry unit! We had so much fun using geomirrors to reflect half an image and draw the missing side!

In language we continued working on our letter to friends, we practiced including details and making connections with the reader. We also spent time during this period reflecting on our UOI forces and motions summatives. Students were required to think critically about thier work in order to develop thier reflection skills.

After lunch, recess, and French, we came back and had our monthly IB learner profile lesson. This months attribute-open-mindedness. We read an amazing book about Helen Keller that taught us not to judge someone, and to be open-minded to those we meet. The class were very curious about her story and learned that despite obsticals we can achieve anything we set our mind to!

After second lunch and recess we ended the day with music and gym before completing agendas and heading to kiss and ride!

Important Reminders:
Math 142-143 (make corrections to 140-141)

See you all tomorrow!!
