We had another great day in here in Grade 3! We began our day with math where we used our knowledge of figures, lines, and angles, in order to make pictures with shapes!
During language time we worked on our persuasive writing. We learned how to organize a speech using the OREO format and began writing a speech to Mr. Sawatsky about uniforms to help us prepare for the OWA post-assessment.
After lunch, recess, and French the class came back and watched a short video on the benefits of composting. Then we brainstormed ideas on the board before students began working on their comporting posters to be hung around the school!
After second lunch and recess we had some time to work on our Arts Night presentation and we also had time for some story presentations!
We ended the day with gym and agendas before heading off to kiss and ride!

- Spelling Bee in class Thursday
- Read 25 minutes
- Composting poster if not finished
- Shakespeare play tomorrow at 7pm and at 1:30 (come support our MYP students!!)
