Happy Wednesday Parents!

We had a wonderful day in Grade 3! We began our day with a math review for our test on Tuesday May 23rd (a review package will be sent home tomorrow to prepare students for the test). Students will need to review key concepts related to geometry including: identifying figures, sorting figures, parallel and perpendicular lines, angles, identifying 3D figures, sorting 3D figures, and nets of figures.

For our Language period we spent time working on our Art's Night performance, I am so excited about this performance and we are being very creative!!

After lunch, recess, and French we learned about soil erosion by watching a video that explained how natural elements can cause landforms to be built. Then students inquired into soil erosion by conducting an experiment in groups where they could see how landforms are built with water!

We ended the day with waterballooning the teachers as our fundraiser prize for the spring fundraiser!

Important Information:

  • Tomorrow is the last day to hand in forms and money for the Mad Science Workshop next week!
  • Read 25 minutes
  • Spelling Test tomorrow lesson 29
Have a wonderful evening!
