Happy Wednesday Parents!

Today has been a great day here in Grade 3! We worked really hard this morning on our math work and every student finished all of the textbook questions!

We then worked on finishing our friendship stories, the students learned that all narrative stories teach a lesson or have a moral. To finish their stories they thought about what they wanted to teach their readers. We have some amazing stories coming along!

If the students did not finish the conclusion to their friendship stories, or were working on writing a good copy of their story they could have extra homework tonight. Please have them complete this neatly as we are going to be creating story books out of our stories.

After recess and lunch we worked on creating a “bullying banner” we talked about our responsibility as friends and what we can do to stop bullying from happening. We then created individual posters which will be put up in the hallway along with the other grade three’s to create a banner at St. Jude’s showing our support for Anti-Bulling and to raise awareness.

After second recess the class had music and gym. We ended the day with agendas before kiss and ride.

Important information:
-Math homework on page 40 and 41, your child should be able to complete this individually.

-Read 20 minutes per night and log in log book, send log book back on Friday for a check.
