Happy Wednesday Parents!
We are halfway through the week! We began our day with math;
we focussed on adding three-digit numbers today. The children seemed to be able
to do this very well. The only thing that we have to remember is to line up the
numbers properly according to place value.
In language continued working on contractions. The class is
great at turning two words into one word with an apostrophe, and they came up
with some wonderful sentences using contractions in them. I see their writing
and grammar improving every day!
In UOI we continued our lesson on Manners Around the World,
the students finished their group work and developed presentations (complete
with lots of actions!) which they practiced until French.
After French, recess and lunch the students presented their
Manners Around the World countries. Some of our students need to present tomorrow
as we ran out of time. The presentations I have seen so far have been amazing!
The whole class has been participating and having fun learning about other countries!
I will post videos tomorrow when all of the presentations have finished.
The students finished the day with gym and agendas before
kiss and ride!
