We had a great day here in Grade 3! We began our day with math where we spent more time organizing shapes into Venn Diagrams. We then learned about congruent figures (figures that are the same).
During language time we focused on Audience in persuasive writing and looking at your audiences perspective. We read a series of paragraphs and identified who the audience was and used evidence from the text to support our ideas.
After lunch, recess, and French we came back to class and had a very interesting lesson on composting! We watched a short video on composting and then answered a couple questions to assess our knowledge of composting before we made our very own composter! We put in organic material and soil, we even added in our earthworms Tiny and Mr. Noodle into our composter!
After second lunch and recess the class ended the day with music and gym before agendas and heading off to kiss and ride!
