Happy Tuesday Parents!
We had a busy day here in grade 3! We began our day with
math where we are learning how to draw pictographs! The class helped me create
a pictograph on the board and then they worked on creating a few of their own
in their math notebooks.
For language we read the next chapter of our book and then
transformed the chapter into a tableau. The students worked incredibly well and
managed to complete all of the tasks well despite being interrupted by a fire
drill in between our lesson! Stay tuned for some awesome pictures of our
tableau scenes to illustrate the main events of the chapter.
After lunch, recess, and French, we spent a little bit of
time reviewing concepts related to circle graphs, I found after checking the
homework, that some students were a little bit confused about the concepts of
1/2, 1/4, and 1/3.
After reviewing that concept we moved onto UOI, I provided
the class with some time to practice their presentations before we continued
having students present their awesome brochures! I am so proud of all that they
have accomplished!
After second lunch and recess we came back to continue our
UOI brochure presentations. After gyrm we quickly finished agendas before heading to kiss and ride!
