Happy Wednesday Parents!

We had another busy day in grade 3! We began with math, today we had a pre-test before we begin our unit on Data Management. I wanted to get an understanding of what the class already knows so that I can tailor my teaching to meet their needs.

After our math pre-assessment we read chapter 5 LHBW. This chapter was about Sunday’s. After reading we discussed actions and consequences together as a class, then the students worked in their journals to reflect about a time that they made a choice that resulted in a consequence. We had some great reflections from the students who related their own experiences to those in the novel.

After lunch, recess, and French the class came back for UOI. For UOI the class was working on their safety brochure planners. Most of the class finished the planner and began working on transferring their information to their brochures. They are coming along very nicely and I am so proud of all of their hard work with this project!

After UOI we had gym and then came back to do agendas before kiss and ride.

• -Spelling Work lesson 5 due Friday
• -Read 25 minutes and Log
• -Movie night money and forms due by Friday (this was a big hit last year and the students loved it!)
