Hello Parents and Happy Friday!

We had a wonderful day here in grade 3! We began the day by heading into the auditorium for the Annual Oral Competition. We started with the younger students and worked our way to the grade 3's! All of the students who performed were fantastic and should be so proud of themselves! Our class loved cheering on Emana and Shane as they both performed fantastically on stage!

After lunch and recess we went back into the auditorium to watch the grade 4-8 speech competition! The grade 3's loved seeing what they will get to do next year when they are in grade 4! Again the presentations were amazing and we learned so much!

We ended the day with lunch, recess, and gym before completing agendas and heading off to kiss and ride!

We even spent some extra time outside today to get our energy out!

Important Reminders:

  • Field trip forms and money are due Monday at the latest!
  • Math test on Monday-I have provided some extra review sheets to be completed over the weekend!
  • Sign and Return Spelling Test
  • UOI research is due for Monday as well. This is just the research stage. Students are to look up a community of their choice (ex. Burlington, Caledon, Brampton, etc.) and they are to find out information on the communities landforms, recreational activities, jobs, resources (natural and man-made, and any other important information about the community) They will then use this research to create an informative brochure or poster about their community in class

Have a wonderful weekend!
