Hello Parents and Happy Tuesday!

We had a busy day today filled with poems galore! We began our day by having everyone from all of the grade three classes into our room and we listened to some amazing poems!

We had time for a quick math lesson where we learned about writing and naming fractions. Most of the students have already learned how to write fractions as symbols (1/2) and how to write it in words (one-half), so it was easy for them!

After lunch, recess, and french we had the rest of the grade 3 poem presentations! I am so proud of our class for their hard work and dedication in practicing their poems at home and really coming up with great presentations! Tomorrow the winners from our class will be announced! I wish I could pick them all but only two from our class will be chosen to go to the auditorium on Friday!

After second lunch and recess we headed to music where we presented our soundscape! Jaya was an action star when she made her very own rainmaker to sound like the rain in the country! Way to go Jaya! All of the sounds together sounded amazing and really made the sounds like the country or the city!

We ended the day with gym and agendas before heading off to kiss and ride!
